If you don't mind walking about in 47 degrees C in the middle of the afternoon... its a mild 32 after dark. Been here a week and wondering if l have made the right choice...
FIFA says transfer window can open before the end of this season, but FA consider August-October window: https://www.skysports.com/football/...ason-ends-but-fa-is-discussing-august-october
Had almost forgotten this ever happened, but loaning Cedric to Arsenal for £5m is now looking to be a cracking little deal! https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/foot...tm_medium=social&utm_campaign=mirror_football
Wonder if he might be interested in a cheeky return? Anything to stop RH using our thread bare midfielders out of position ahead of any of our existing options
What are you on about? Cedric played the majority of games at RB before he left and then Valery came back when he was available again. It was a lack of options that forced Ralph's hand a few times.
Absolutely, one of the most satisfying spectacles of the season. I didn't say I agreed with DL. If he'd play there permantly I'd love it. JWP I mean , not DL as I'm not sure if he has pace
If we didn't have KWP available, then I'd be keen to get Cedric back for the end of the season. But we do. We don't need three RBs. That said, at present I believe it's a non-issue - even if Arsenal are happy to say goodbye to him. I haven't heard anything confirmed yet about PL teams even being able to re-open their 25 man squads in order to re-register current players who were previously excluded in January due to long term injury - let alone re-register players who are out on loan, and generally aren't contracted to return until 1 July.
Cedric wouldn't be the first player to leave a club without making a positive contribution on the pitch... *Cough* Guido *Cough*
Wonder if/when we'll hear about those out of contract in 2 weeks time... Harry Lewis is one... regularly involved in the 1st team squads. Or even Kevin Danso.
I've heard Danso is off which seems the right thing to do. Quite interesting to look back on when we signed him and there were plenty moaning that it was only a loan - seems wise now though ey?
Off at the end of the month, or off at the end of the season after a short extension is more what I was getting at. But I do agree on Danso. Right move.
He is versatile for sure but I still think that his talents are better served in the midfield, i'm hoping that KWP shines and we manage to sign him permanently personally.
If Danso is off it means that we are one CB down from this time last year and most fans felt that we were short of quality in the position even then! Jack Stephens has improved for sure but cover is wafer thin and we need a couple of CBs I would think.
I'm not sure he was ever our preferred option, he was available though. I won't write a player off so soon but Spuds don't rate him at all. We will end up paying over tge odds for him if they get PEH. I still hope for Maehle.
