Not a hope in hell pal. Would be sparky for me but still feel we should give Bruce until the end of November minimum.

    I've said before Ancellotti.

He is set for life with the pay off and wages from Chelski.

He may just be tempted by a challenge up here with the eskimo's. <ok>

The man has managed AC Milan, Chelsea and Real Madrid (I think) in his glistening career he is hardly going to say oh **** it ill finish my days in that glorious city of Sunderland

Ancelotti will hang on for Spurs IMO, he only has to wait till seasons end, when i reckon Chops will manage England.

The usual culprits of MoN, Hughes or Curbishley will be mentioned time and time again.

Do we go for one of them or do we be big and bold and go for a big hitter like Ancelotti, Van Gaal etc.

I heard van Basten mentioned earlier today by one poster and that one took me by surprise. It gave me a little tingle as well!!!!!! Wouldnt that be an eye opener?

Totally agree, if not Ancellotti, then someone of his calibre, sooner rather than later, I've said in another post I think SB is hanging on for the sack to get the pay off, I say lets get it over with

I'd just love someone to come and play attacking football lads.

I could handle the odd pasting by going for the throat in every game, agreed?

Van Basten was me, Young, Free, Experienced. may cost a fortune though and may never had heard of us, but it would be nice.

Van Basten is a lovely thought mind.

    Seems unlikely.

I think that is one of my main problems with Bruce BB.
He sets up teams to try and hold the opposition even when the opposition don't warrant that sort of respect.
This isn't a new thing he has done it from day one and we won a lot of games by pure luck during his tenure.
He has done the same every where he has been, that is one of the reasons I was disappointed in him being appointed our manager.
Luckily for him Stoke didn't turn up last week.
FFS am I the only one who was expecting us to tonk Norwich last night?

It's true mate, statto Steve, how many of our wins under Bruce have been by a single goal?

    I know we have had 2 4-0's (Stoke, Bolton), a few 3-0's.

We're just ****ing dull, lets ****ing have a go, every week man.

Here we go again Ok all of you in cuckoo land tell me why

    1. MoN would come left A.Villa because he had no money i don't think he will be given a large amount here either also turned us down before.

    2. Hughes what the **** has he achieved.

    3. Curbishley been out to long

    4. D.Moyes struggling at Everton to come here would not be a step forward for him.

I mean if we just wait a bit we may even get Wenger FFS

Now i don't know who else is available and who would want to come but one thing for certain if we are going to sack bruce.

For me it had better be for someone better and not another up and coming wannabe.

Sorry Steve, it was you and you got my juices flowing with that one.

I think managing Ajax and Holland are good enough grounding for Sunderland job dont you. Wonder if it were possible. We might benefit form 2 or 3 Ajax loans from their youth and 2nd team?

Here in cloud cuckoo land, I have more tactical nous than our present manager.
So any ****er with his badges would be better than Bruce. <ok>

Moyes for me. What he has achieved on no money is phenomenal. He had kept Everton in the top 10 for ages now, all with no cash. Him finding Coleman for 60k was a shrewd deal. He got Cahill for next to nothing and we all know what a pain in the ass he is against us. Moyes for me. I think Sunderland will be a step forward for him. We have all the makings of a top 10 club who will progress.. so long as we beat teams like Norwich.

I like Bruce. He has taken us to heights we never could have imaged back in 05/06. But as a staunch BiB, my head has been turned. He has taken us as far as he can. It's a shame as I like him, but im getting sick of hearing the same ****e in his email after every match - "we gave away possesion far to easily" " It was individual errors" "We were outplayed by the better side" etc. Taking off Larrson, and using Sess (who im a massive fan of) as a striker is tactically inept. We should get someone in before the next transfer window so he can see where its going wrong (left side anyone??) and start looking for people to get in January.

If not Moyes, Van Basten. Would like some more Dutch players at the club, as they are always a good side
