Yeah I won't be touching any beer tonight as that's exactly how it will end up.

I can get it delivered but it will no doubt be cut with washing powder. If I want decent stuff means driving somewhere. Easier to not bother. I’ve resisted it in the face of adversary as have had a few mates round for beers in the garden and within 3 cans it’s descended into talking about getting it. Caused a massive row with the mrs as well.

Hopefully if loads of people fook them off, they might become more competitive. I only buy sport now as and when I want it, or if I'm sent an offer worth having. I've got apps for Now TV which is basically SKY and another app for BT Sports. My kid lets me link into Amazon Prime, if they have any footie, so I got most avenues covered. Only thing is you need to have a good speed on your broadband.

Another thing that's also done for my lower league football now, for any away game that is not shown on a Saturday or a Tuesday night, you can pay a tenner to see the game online. It can be Chromecast. So if you have a few Wednesday or Friday fixtures, I think it might work for Mondays as well.

Which reminds me, I've still got a prepaid voucher for Now TV.

Now TV emailed me the other day with some sort of offer or asking me to add a pass or some bullshit. Not interested.

Ahh see when you say the words getting on it. That’s what that means to me.

Remember ten years ago went on a pof date. The bird was hanging. She ended up giving me a line of some pretend legal high ching. Can’t remember what it’s called. I Remember nothing from the point I honked it, woke up bollock naked in bed with her at 6am to the sound of bin men. Drugs are bad.

Yeah I think they were offering a month football subscription for £20 instead of £33, I deleted it. I aint interested now until the new season. If anything good comes up match wise, I'll use up my last remaining prepaid voucher, which I think is for a week.

Yeah that's kinda what I mean tbf which is why I won't drink anything in this mood.

Something I learnt from that year off, one drink in a bad mood will quickly turn into 8 beers, a litre of rum and a **** load of gear. Followed by a ruined weekend full of suicidal thoughts.

Looking at their latest deals, they are. You can get everything barring the movies (which are **** anyway) for £50 inc Sky Q, which made my fume worse tbh, as me as a loyal customer who’s been with them in one form or another since they first started was paying £90.

I very fortuitously ended up with fibre installed, despite living in the sticks (long story) so I think I’ll end up with Now TV and either use the day passes or possibly their £34 a month full Sky Sports package.

If it does that defo lay off it. I normally hate myself the next day. Much the same as I do if I eat excessive MacDonald’s or kfc. Though I have come to learn you have to drink through it the next day then have an early night. It gets worse the older you get. If I get on it on a Saturday I’m not back to normal til Wednesday.

Yeah keep an eye with NOW TV they often do promotions. I've not checked my account for a while. I move my broadband everytime the contract expires, got Talk Talk this year, £21.95 a month for high speed broadband, but not their top package. Although it was technically cheaper than that, because I did it through topcashback when they were doing £110 cash back, took a while to come through, but got it eventually. Although I'm sure this time I signed a 18 month contract, so it worked out just over £6 a month saving up front. So true price of my broadband was £16ish a month.

Yeah it's definitely got worse in recent years. Can deal with the physical side of being hanging from it no problem but the mental side absolutely ruins me for days.

That because you sit on your own? You need to go to the pub with your mates and drink then eat pizza and pass out. It’s the only way to deal with self loathing.

Number one rule for me, I never use alcohol if I'm on a low. <ok>

I don't do drugs, so can't speak for them.

I can't deal with facing anybody the day after unless I get back on it and don't ever drink two days in a row.

Yep. A bad mood used to be my cue to get drunk whereas now it's a sign to avoid it completely.

I was paying about 110 a month for Sky Q with their ****test internet, movies and sports, plus another 35 a month for BT Sport. Been working from home the last 6 months and the internet is utter ****e, averaging something like 1mbps download. Quickest Sky can offer in my area is 15mbps which is equally ****e despite living in the centre of a city.

Phoned Virgin and they could offer me the same tv package with sports and movies etc and BT sport and some super broadband at 500mbps for 79 a month. Called Sky to cancel and said as a loyal customer of 3 years I should’ve been paying about 55 quid for the package I’ve been on. Asked them why no ****er told me that and asked for a refund, they said no but asked if I wanted to stay anyway. Laughed down phone and told them to cancel immediately

See I find that odd. Don’t get me wrong sitting on your own and pounding booze is bad. Few beers with mates can make your troubles go away. Don’t get me wrong if I’m in a bad mood due to feeling weird then not. Just being pissed off and getting drunk with your mates is the best tonic, few beers and laughs sorts most things.

I don't mean I get on it on my own, I mean I won't face anyone the day after if I shove loads of that **** up my nose.

Guess I’m lucky, never had that problem with bag or booze or anything really. I have been told I have the emotional range of a carrot though so could be linked.
