Oh the band were as camp as **** and their tunes were cheesy pop toppers. But they were really successful and made big hits.

You need solid musicians to do that and Deon Estus was raised on funk and soul, so he was always going to bring something to the table.

 

I never ever had a problem with the band being camp or George Michael being gay, although hanging around bogs oversteps the mark.

Bollocks. This had nothing to do with any protests or demonstrations. This was criminal behaviour from people who have no respect for the law.
