If you're gonna do it, do it right, right. Do it Piskie. If you're gonna do it, do it right, right. Do it Piskie. Duggiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...... I'm your mannnnnnnnnnnnnn!
At least we have had a couple of pages of light hearted banter on this thread It was starting to get a bit nasty Understandably so given the subject and what's happened since Why can't humans just live together without all the s**t and leave the past where it is It is how we feel and act now that matters
Not really anything to do with George Floyd, but as the video was put up on this site somewhere, and just looking at some of the shhite cops have to take. It was good to know the four offenders have been arrested... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-53002948
Not sure that was even anything to do with a demonstration, it was just an everyday moment, that resulted in a break down of law and order, and people filming the cops, instead of helping them, welcome to the modern society of 2020.
Trust me in this mate, it wasn't directly down to the demonstrations but the actions in them have led some people to feel en-powered to do what they want regardless of law.
Maybe, cops are human beings to, we can't pick and choose who has rights, when it suits, whether black, white, cop or protestor.
I would never attack a policeman and hope never to be attacked by one. If I'd been a male black and grown up in Brixton in the 80s however, well would I expect both answers to be the opposite? I don't know, but I bet it would have been likely.
Unfortunately it's the human condition, when someone is down five or six are happy to join in and keep him down. Said it before, tribal hatred and cowardice are both responsible for this kind of behaviour and the current climate is just giving people a feeling that they are justified in these actions (or are at least safe from someone fighting back )
Of course. Jaco Pastorius is one of my all time bass influences. I learned to play the bass listening to Bootsy Collins and that whole P funk scene. And Deon Estus who wrote that Club Tropicana bassline also played with Marvin Gaye and George Clinton. So **** all of y'all talking **** about Wham
