Hi there Matt (and other folks). I'd be surprised if there's more than 1 goal scored in total in this one - but by whom?
The way things stand, I think we need the win more than you. First game back and 3 points on the board would give us a definite lift and a real chance of the playoffs. Looking at your remaining fixtures (5 at home), a point from each of your 4 away games should do you for a top 2 spot.
So we are responsible for what happened before we were born, and should be punished for being white. Should we hang all newborn baby Germans, because of the things Germany did in WW2.
The thing is until we see them on the pitch we won't know how much lock down has affected either side, for good or bad.
How many will be watching the matches on LUTV ? In other words what sort if income will the club be able to generate whilst games are played without fans. In theory it could be huge as we start from a base of 23,000 ST holders and then the numbers worldwide could amount to anything. If we had 50,000 all paying £10 then that would be a decent amount and given we have 35,000 at every home game that figure should be on the low side. But of course then illegal streaming rears it's ugly head...how many supporters will still choose to watch for free rather than financially support the club they love ? As I understand it over 70% of net revenues goes directly to your own club, which means income from away games as well. Last season over £7 milllion pounds income was generated through ifollow streaming for EFL clubs and that figure wouldn't include Leeds as we use our own LUTV to stream the matches.
Everyone should, unless it's live on Sky and you're a Sky subsciber. Perhaps we should campaign for a cessation of posting streaming links as there's a viable alternative available to all and our club desperately need the income.
They will have the option to watch, but not for free...they have to accept a bundle of offers (which includes LUTV) in return for forgoing a pro rata refund that for most equates to around £98.
Why should we as them who can afford to watch on LUTV campaign to stop them who maybe can't afford it from watching. If they can't afford to watch it, we should punish them ? . Everyone makes their own choice for me.
Agreed...now how do we know who are the ones who genuinely cannot afford it ? Not the time to be stealing content/income from our own club just because you can.
People have to make their own choice, normally the options not there, now it is, if you are a Leeds fan who can afford LUTV, you should pay if you want to watch. But if people can't afford, it cost the club nothing as if you can't afford you wouldn't pay you would just miss out.
You better believe it Wakey' Twitter just locked my account because I had a go at justin bieber over his bullying of a young Irish girl on Twitter.
