exactly and they have plenty of reasonable doubt. The toon army all over Twitter and social winding up the haters have asked for it and by George are we all going to get it.
Still could be worse. Least we are in the premiership still! For now anyways. Ashleys bum must be twitching now.
it's not that it's like being told you've won the lottery, eyeing up your new life including Ferraris, mansions and an unbelievable wife swap, but then the balance never arriving and being told you aren't allowed the money.. it's living knowing what might have been that's damaging.. then on top of that for the rest of your miserable life seeing the people you hate and the media laughing at the story and even patting you on the back with relief.
effectively Newcastle fans have been pushed to the edge of a cliff through depravity and then beckoned back away from freedom with promises of gold and fortune just a before they leap, but when they get home they realised they've once again been Melvined and it was all played out on TV from start to finish.
My grandma used to say “if it’s to good to be true it probably is” and “if you expect the worst then anything better is a bonus and your prepared when it happens” The latter is how I’ve been looking at the deal from day one and if you read this immense thread you can see that I have said more or less from day one I’m a negative person so until it’s done it’s not done. May grandma was a pessimist aswell. She used to say “it doesn’t matter if the glass is half full or empty if the glass is broken, you can’t drink the water anyways or you might get cut”
I think my grandmas last quote is what you mean aswell. We sipped from the broken glass and we cut our lip!
