I’ve got a wardrobe full of Hugo Boss. Its like I’m slapping Jews in the face every time I leave the house
Interesting to read that Huggy Bear came under the ethnic subgenre of blaxploitation, and yes I have spelt that correctly.
I don't think blaxploitation is neccesarily seen as negative by all, as it was seen the characters cast, were more than just your usual villians etc...although how being a pimp and black is not stereotyping to some degree I'm not quite sure, especially when both cops (Starsky& Hutch) were white.
One of very few athletes who had the talent to match the ego. No one had ever seen a heavyweight move like that. Always vulnerable to a left hook though, which allowed Henry Cooper to put him on his arse; Ali (Clay then) was literally saved by the bell. Not everyone in Britain loved him - plenty of people resented his boasting, but he had enough character, and enough talent, to win people over. In the States, lots of people could never forgive a black man for being that outspoken. The tragedy is that nothing much has changed since. In fact it’s probably got worse - Colin Kaepernick’s career is in the toilet for taking a stand (or a knee rather). Ali was robbed of his best years for refusing to go to Vietnam, but he got his career back eventually. Tommy Smith and John Carlos, the two athletes who raised the Black Power salute from the podium in the 68 Olympics, probably caused as much outrage as Kaepernick, but they didn’t have to stop running because of it.

Well you could have just replied to my post about me instead of Archers. It sums you up perfectly tbh
I appreciate what you’re trying to do here. Responding directly wouldn’t have made much sense and you still got some attention. Take that as a win, mate.
There's lots of statues in Portsmouth. Mostly Nelson and Dickens. The museum has a floor dedicated to Sherlock Holmes, Conan Doyle used to live just up the road. If you're taking the kids they also have a brilliant room upstairs dedicated to old game consoles and computers, all loaded up with various games. Come to think of it, they are probably closed atm.
You seem obsessed with people seeking attention. You must be getting a lack of it because you don’t half fixate on it.
Bayden-Powell statue getting taken down as he "supported" Hitler. Does this mean the Daily Mail is going to be shut? To be honest this ret-conning of history is getting annoying. Good people do bad things and bad people do good things.
