Taking the Florists to court over injury mismanagement. An interesting case. https://www.nottinghampost.com/spor...s/explained-reason-matty-fryatt-suing-4211735
Genuinely interested to see how this plays out and what precedents this sets, can see arguments on both sides of this, but if I was a betting man, i'd be backing Fryatt to win this one
Exactly. Matty, lived on scraps and did fantastic job for us. Made a lot of his goals himself, he had to.
It amazed me Kemps. He was the last striker we had who always seemed to score. Most of the time as you say it was just half chances. Right place right time.
Unusually for a striker, very modest and introvert. Normal haircut, no tats, no rehearsed goal celebration - can think of a few players we've had since that are all tats and male grooming. But Fryatt let his goals do the talking.
Usual hull city fans going overboard about a mediocre player. good pro and likable who had a tough time with injuries. Maybe brucey could have improved him, like he did with others, who knows.
He was excellent for us, the only recent players who matched his strike rate for us over a decent period were Hernandez and Bowen.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Fryatt's case settled out of court, along with the 'no admission of liability' guff. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
