Blanc said "new ambitious project". Somebody else said "could be England". Nobody said "definitely in England". Whatever he's doing it's not managing NUFC in the PL. Eventually, we'll work out that this is all bollocks and we've been looking at the wrong thing. SIX weeks of speculation over ONE Companies House document.
I see Steve McLaren has once again demonstrated his brain hasn't seen a bowl of muesli for decades by suggesting these owners might be the type to cut budgets ..
Also a lot of crap happening around French clubs at the mo. Honestly, it's just not worth glancing at. Why the Chronicle put it up is baffling, and annoying.
not much else we can do really ... everyone including caulken the messiah are all clutching at straws .
I (stupidly) had a quick check on Twitter for anything - and, no, there's absolutely nothing, not even scraps. It's as if it doesn't exist. What really boiled my piss, though, was the official Premier League Twitter feed had put up a quiz where you had to guess the team, manager and players just by the players' national flags. The PL account had been engaging with fans guessing, but that they can put up a quiz where the answer is UAE's state-funded title winners, jovially chat to fans about their guesses and somehow can't see that this might be in somewhat poor taste is beyond anything I imagined possible.
The takeover is being delayed because of questions over the Saudi state, allegedly. They are refusing to comment at all and by most accounts delaying for no reason. Their quiz features a UAE-bought team. The timing is just a bit ****.
Give over! They've been doing this for ages. It's the media team who will know nothing. No conspiracy. Change your pads
