Several members of the Washington, DC National Guard have tested positive for Covid-19 after being deployed to the Black Lives Matter protests sparked by the death of George Floyd, the military says. Over the last couple of months we’ve heard all sorts about the economy post virus . Worst recession ever, won’t be too bad , taxation won’t be needed to repay borrowing , slow recovery , quick recovery etc etc Today’s version is that the U.K. will suffer the worst of all developed nations — and the north east will ( surprise surprise ) have the slowest regrowth. (and we can assume that the govt will give us the least assistance) So for those who live around here , welcome to the 3rd world
