Hi All, I currently pay £7.99 a month for Microsoft 365 (office thing) Trying to cut costs: If I pay Microsoft directly it is £79.99 for the year so obviously saving 2 months of £7.99 However on Amazon you can allegedly buy it for £55.99. Any reason why the massive saving compared to paying them directly? Can you get it any cheaper? Any help/advice much appreciated. PS It's happening!!!
you might be able to get it cheaper if you know someone who is either at uni/college or school and get it through them. Not sure how it works now myself if I'm honest...i work from home and have a laptop provided by my employer which has everything loaded on it that I need so i just use that.
being provided a laptop by a school to do work with??? We have a Tory government now! I need 3 licenses though hence want to buy my own now off a "mate" Oh and I am at school!
Got mine a few months back from Argos 1 yr £45 plus a free 1yr antivirus Don’t know if it’s still on promo
mate it’s legit but keep an eye out for Argos. I’ve paid £39.99 twice now for the 6 device annual subscription. I’ll buy 2 next time as you can load them all on together To get 2 years at a time.
I certainly don't get any hardware from school (the laptop I'm using I bought myself even though it's mostly for work, that's the situation in many jobs i guess?) but i do get Office through school for free! They need to buy a licence for the computers/users in school and you get a few licences per purchase. I don't know the ins and outs of it but I can perfectly legally sign in to my school office account from home and then download all the software to this device. I have also, more debate-ably, logged into my office account on my wife's laptop and downloaded it onto there too (I say debate-ably as I do use her laptop for work sometimes - it's smaller and tends to be the one we take away places - but mostly she just uses my office account etc.). I'd have thought you can also get it for free through work DPP, have you checked with your IT department?
