everyone knows...even Comm Has he asked you about your ethnicity so that he can try to figure out why you have a certain opinion on black slavery? ffs
They did, keep the statue was the result (according to Tobes) but as usual the *peaceful" protesters got their way
So why would an Asian Muslim care so much? Which was my whole point, when i spoke about Asians earlier....... So do you identify as As asian or black?
Comm needs to have a Nurishment then get to bed...he might be needed soon to pull a statue out of his local lake too...sleep and energy is essential.
So which bit was i contradictory with, the bit that Comm posted (which was right, some are "chucked onto the streets" and left to die) or your post that i agreed with that said some are there through their own fault/choice?
Spurly has never seemed anti-white to me. Anti-establishment definitely, just so happens the establishment here is white. I'm sure he would be anti-moustaches and comb overs if he lived in Pakistan. please log in to view this image
Not once the whites get involved mate. It's been an easy run for now.......All the whites have kept quiet, avoiding it all... Let's not kid ourselves here what could happen.
I disagreed with the 'bit like' part of the post, stating that a large amount of homeless are there through their own fault/choices. Whereas slaves clearly weren't enslaved and killed through their own fault/choices so I'd say it's not like that at all. If you disagree with the bit like part too then fair enough it was just a misunderstanding mate.
Ffs care about what? why don’t you read what I said to Diego? I don’t care...Like it was my ancestors...haven’t even pretended to. What gets on my tits is that I find it excruciatingly painful to read the posts of a grown man like yourself struggling to grasp why people give a **** about a statue of a slave trader. See, to put it simply...I’m not a ****in idiot...therefore actually have the capability to put myself in other peoples shoes and quite easily grasp why black people or sane people in general think that that Statue in Bristol was one of an Uber racist ****...blacks, browns, oriental...I doubt he would have given a ****...if you don’t understand that from a normal human beings perspective wether he is black, brown, ginger, green or rainbow coloured...then I cant ****in help you out here
Obviously I'm from Leicester and grew up in a multi-cultural city... still had it's problems in terms of race relations but arguably more enlightened than many places in the country as I was growing up. My paternal grandmother was born in India to a father who was a Captain in the British army. She hooked up with my grandfather when her dad came back to Blighty at the end of his military career. The old man was raised in the Highfieds area of Leicester which became an area flooded by Indian emigrants. My grandmother lived there until moving to a care home and because she could speak some Hindi and Urdu was held in some esteem in the fast growing Asian community. Through her and then the old man (and in fairness my old girl to) I was brought up not to judge people by their ethnicity or skin colour, which is something I have passed on to my girls and am immensely proud of in terms of how they have grown up as rounded individuals with friends from many backgrounds and cultures. Not everyone was that lucky and prejudice obviously still exists in our world. ... all of that said, I do believe that it is flawed to judge the events of the past by the values we hold to today. The American dream is built on "manifest destiny", the concept that their mission in life was to bring other races under the wing of Christianity for their own salvation ... ****ed up beyond belief ... but nevertheless a belief firmly held and a conviction that they were following the doctrine of God. Long way of saying that some things that happened hundreds of years ago might seem completely abhorrent now, but at the time were viewed as "normal".
