Which option will you be choosing and why?

    ADULT REBATE OPTIONS
Please find the three rebate options below, available to 2019/20 general admission home Adult Season Ticket holders:

    OPTION 1: Support the Academy

Donate your rebate to support the development of young players within the club Academy and help to develop the stars of the future.

    OPTION 2: Comprehensive Club Bundle
Adult Season Ticket holders can choose a comprehensive Club Bundle of benefits and enjoy all the excitement of the conclusion to the Championship season.

This Club Bundle will provide access to watch all nine of our remaining games live on LUTV*; receive copies of the official matchday programme for our five home games delivered directly to your door; be part of the virtual crowd with your own personalised ‘Crowdie’** inside Elland Road; enjoy a virtual ticket to our Player of the Year Awards, plus receive a retail gift card to the value of £50.

In order to obtain the full value of the Club Bundle you will need to reply no later than Monday 15th June 2020 to allow us sufficient time to provide you with the various codes that you will require.

We will continue to process Club Bundle selections after Monday 15th June and will provide Season Ticket holders a pro rata package of benefits less any games that may have been played at the time of the selection being processed.

*Please note some of these games will also be shown live on Sky Sports.
** The club will be installing personalised fan silhouettes inside Elland Road called ‘Crowdies’ to ensure our fans can be part of history and ‘virtually’ be inside Elland Road as we seek promotion to the Premier League. More information to follow.

    OPTION 3: Pro Rata Refund

You can claim a pro-rata refund based on the face value of your 2019/20 Season Ticket.

    To calculate your rebate:-
Original price paid for the 2019/20 Season Ticket divided by 23 (number of home league fixtures) multiplied by the number of games that fans can't attend. (There are 5 home fixtures remaining).

For example, a Season Ticket holder who paid £445 for their 2019/20 season ticket will be entitled to a rebate worth £96.74.

Season Ticket Holders who paid by direct debit via Zebra Finance, will have their refund credited back to the bank account used to purchase their Season Ticket.*

Supporters who did not pay by direct debit for their Season Ticket, will receive the rebate by bank transfer into their bank account*.

Further details will be sent within the email over the coming days.

    * Please note the pro rata refund will be paid to the original payment owner and not the individual Season Ticket holder. Terms and conditions apply.

    DEADLINES

    OPTION 2: MONDAY 15TH JUNE 2020

    OPTION 1 + 3: FRIDAY 31ST JULY 2020

If fans do not respond by the deadline date then the club will automatically apply Option 1 and any rebates that have not been claimed will be donated to support our Academy.

Please note that any supporters choosing to receive a Pro Rata Refund will receive payment after the deadline of 31 July 2020. We will process the refunds as soon as practicable after this time.

Obviously it won't affect me but Id imagine people decisions will be influenced by circumstances . Clearly, many may experience serious financial difficulties due to loss of jobs or whatever. Full refund may be very welcome in such cases

Option 2 is a bit different for OAPs. Not happy. Footie not included. WTF am I going to do with a £100 retail voucher? And they can stick their crowdie too. Surely watching the footie on LUTV costs them nothing? You'd think that would be part of EVERY option.

OPTION 2: Crowdie & £100 Retail Gift Card

Be part of the virtual crowd with your own personalised ‘Crowdie’** inside Elland Road and receive a retail gift card to the value of £100.

While "the footie on tv may cost them nothing' (more about this below) the costs of running a club, absent match day stewarding (May still have to pay for policing to prevent congregating outside the stadium) is the same, but their is huge loss of game day revenue.

Additionally, with potentially 20,000 - 30,000 additional viewers, LUTV may have to add bandwidth to provide a decent service. That will cost too.

Perhaps, but why target OAPs? I would happily take the 9 games & bugger the £100 retail voucher. Whatever I might buy with the voucher would cost them money. I'm left with the option of taking the cash, then paying for each game.

You may be right about the capacity thing, but remember, this service is available to all - it's not just (some) s/t holders - so they probably have to bulk up anyway. Put it this way, they shouldn't lose money on it. Bottom line, why exclude the very people who would almost certainly pick up the games instead of the crap offer available.

In case you hadn't gathered, I'm raging about OAPs getting excluded.

Sorry Neil, I am missing the OAP part? I mean, I know what it stands for but please explain what the issue is.

So the over 60's who have been purchasing season-tickets for decades are not entitled to the LUTV package

    An absolute disgrace!

But surely you can take the £100 and buy 9 LUTV games £90 and have £10 left over.
Or option 2 if you already have sky get 2 months championship football for I don't know probably about £40-£60 and keep your change.

No cash involved, just a voucher for the club shop.

As 1964 says, why should over 60s be denied of what everyone else is being offered.

1964 put it succinctly - why are seniors s/t holders not getting the tv option, when the others s/t holders are?

    See https://www.leedsunited.com/seasonticketrebate/concessionseasonticketrebate

Aren’t OAPs included in concession season tickets?

    I see this:

    CONCESSION REBATE OPTIONS
Please find the three rebate options below, available to 2019/20 general admission Concession Season Ticket holders:

    OPTION 1: Support the Academy

Donate your rebate to support the development of young players within the club Academy and help to develop the stars of the future.

OPTION 2: Crowdie & £100 Retail Gift Card

Be part of the virtual crowd with your own personalised ‘Crowdie’** inside Elland Road and receive a retail gift card to the value of £100.

** The club will be installing personalised fan silhouettes inside Elland Road called ‘Crowdies’ to ensure our fans can be part of history and ‘virtually’ be inside Elland Road as we seek promotion to the Premier League. More information to follow.

OPTION 3: Pro Rata RefundYou can claim a pro-rata refund based on the face value of your 2019/20 Season Ticket.

    To calculate your rebate:-

Original price paid for the 2019/20 Season Ticket divided by 23 (number of home league fixtures) multiplied by the number of games that fans can't attend. (There are 5 home fixtures remaining).

For example, a Season Ticket holder who paid £316 for their 2019/20 season ticket will be entitled to a rebate worth £68.70.

    * Please note that the pro rata refund will be paid to the original payment owner and not the individual Season Ticket holder. Terms and conditions apply.

Option 3 is cash back, isn’t it?

    Dear WJ and others,

Thank you for your complaint which has been looked into at the highest level.
We would like to point out to you the value of the bundle which you would prefer instead of a refund.

    9 games on LUTV (£10 x 9) = £90
    5 home programmes (£5 x5) = £25 +pp
    1 x Crowdie = £25
    Retail voucher = £50

Total value of bundle = £190

Pro rata refund value of OAP season ticket (north stand) is £316 divided by 23 x 5 = £68.70

As you can see by the figures it's just not economically viable during these unprecedented times for the club to subsidize your support and we therefore hope you will be happy with either a refund or perhaps you will choose to donate to the Academy.

    Yours sincerely,

The do me a favour you whinging barsteward committee.

Agreed doesn't make much sence, you would think games would be part of every option.

Personally I think the best option for all season ticket holders is to take the refund and then support the club by paying for LUTV and buying a Crowdie. Or if you are able donate the money to the Academy and then still pay for LUTV + Crowdie even better.

Also all other supporters should support the club by paying for LUTV if they are able to watch the matches and buy a Crowdie if they can afford to. Watching on illegal streams or using a VPN should cease and we should all support our club financially at this time.

Only about the refund options for the Barnsley match.

I'd bought some hospitality tickets for Marcos and Ben...Marcos has very generously opted to donate the refund value to the Academy :emoticon-0137-clapp:emoticon-0137-clapp:emoticon-0137-clapp

Crazy decision, but I'm not surprised as those in charge haven't a clue about the meaning of loyalty

I made two phone calls to the people who run my home & away supporters clubs.

One bought his first season-ticket in the early 60's, apart from his S/T he always purchases his two grandchildren season-tickets so in March he has laid out over £550 for next season tickets.

My other friend Phil who has organised away coaches since the 70's & hasn't missed a single game since 1967, he also won football fan of the year not so long ago.

Both are in the same boat as me along with 1000's of others who have suffered the same shabby treatment from our beloved club....an utter shambolic disgrace!

I suppose to be absolutely fair the club could have given the ST holders who received concessions (like yourself) the option to pay the difference between the pro rata refund amounts.

    This equates to about £30.

They probably didn't feel like having to handle the extra logistical complications of implementing that option, especially within the short time frame and with most staff working remotely plus all the other refund options that need to be processed.

I understand why you feel aggrieved as your package is not as attactive as the one offered to full paying adults. The other side of the argument is that you've had a discounted season ticket and the package offered simply has to reflect that.

Would you have been happy being asked to pay the extra £30 so you could have the same Club Bundle offered to full paying ST holders ?
