David Croft, co-writer of some of the most god-awful 'comedies' to be inflicted on the British public has died. Fortunately for them, the average BBC viewer in the 70s and 80s was as easily amused as the centre-court crowd at Wimbledon fortnight, and they enjoyed a long and 'successful' career.
aww...loved some of those comedies. Dad's Army was a favourite. I think Clive Dunn is the only one left alive..weirdly! lol..and are you being served..with Mrs Slocombe and her pussy. What was it about David Croft's programmes..everyone died young! Scary!
