    I'm getting a tad ticked off with this persistent historic revisionism. Slavery was a thing, it happened, it is in our past and is part and parcel of the rich tapestry that makes up the history of Great Britain.

    The British (ok, mainly the English) have sailed around the world generally kicking the sh.it out of foreign folks and setting up trade that on the whole benefited us more than them.

    It's getting boring being told how much I am to blame for everything and how I am expected to kneel down and kiss the boots of negroes in order to make up for something that happened to their ancestors two or three hundred years ago. Ripping down statues of old English blokes and replacing them with ones of Stephen Lawrence? What does that achieve?

    We have become a nation of mewling pussies, too scared to stand up and for itself just in case the Social Media passes judgement.

    Temple Mount was built by slaves , the Great pyramids were built by slaves the Taj Mahal was built by slaves the Koran openly endorses slavery so by this logic of erasing these blights from history we better destroy the lot .
