    Not sure there is much point in giving Gomes and Holebas a new contract.

    Won't show much faith in the younger players.

    Hopefully Pearson and Shakes want to stay regardless.

    It maybe that this is just to extend contracts that expire at the end of June for a few more weeks.

    We had a squad match yesterday at the Vic, yellow v blue. Finished 1-1 Welbeck scored one, don't know the other. They played music and made announcements etc to give them an idea of what a real match will be like.
