Just relates to the composition of that company. Meaningless for takeover purposes. ****ed with my head.

None of these comments make any sense. The O&D test is what it is, it's not a bargaining chip to say to an investment company "we'll let you in, if you tell your country to bid for PL rights". The fact people who SHOULD pass it with ease haven't is telling. The PL are wanting a way out of this. It's much easier to reject it and appease 19 clubs, but they just need to smooth everything out to legally stop any counter-claim suit from KSA.

could it be that they weren't expecting the season to restart? maybe I'm clutching at straws but until the seasons complete there's nothing they could do really.. they can't exactly enter the market with a bang

I don't know why they would want to wait. Kit deal, sponsorship deals, player contracts, transfer planning all needs to happen ASAP. I understand Puma have now been signed for TWO seasons, which is a disaster as a new kit manufacturer could have been lucrative and now it's a dead end for two years, we've severely limited our commercial income yet again. Only thing left is the shirt sponsor - I think if that gets approved as an extension to Fun88 or anything similar, then we ALL know the takeover has failed.

I think you're clutching; I think we've all been clutching for weeks, for a range of reasons. There's currently only one thing stopping it - the Premier League. Why are they stopping it? For reasons I've listed.
