Built a lot of the city. Just as an aside, slave trading was legal back in the dark days so he never broke any laws. Times change and people become more enlightened thankfully but i really can't face/take any blame for something that happened 200 years ago which (at that time) was within the law. I could site lots of other things like the deaths on Brunel constructions that would horrify people today yet he is still a national hero.

Our armed forces is packed with racists. To be fair, if people sign up to kill people then it sort of helps that they don’t like whoever they’re going to fill with bullets.
