Nope. I've said a few times today that I think the defacing of memorials and Churchill statue is ****ing idiotic. Apparently police moved on some 'lads' from the Churchill statue before it was then graffiti'd. Also said earlier that I can see it kicking off big time next week. Got no issue with the Brizzle one personally though.
I'm a big fan of Noam Chomsky. Came across him around 25 years ago when I was an English undergraduate as a lot of his work was in linguistics. His voice is needed more than ever right now, especially in the US where the narrative is being dominated by Trump and the sycophants that he surrounds himself with.
i reckon a lot of people in this country have learnt more about the slave trade since that statue went for a dip this aft, than they ever got taught at school.......maybe that highlights an issue. Funny how things turn out innit.
