There has been a video going round on Facebook of exactly the same thing carried out to a white bloke by an American copper. I try to stay out of these debates. Did the guy deserve to die? No of course not. The scenes from London yesterday are a disgrace. The statue of winston Churchill has been vandalised the cenotaph has been. Then there is a video going round of whether true or not I don’t know of some Coldstream guard recruits cleaning off the graffiti from the war memorial on the anniversary of d day being screamed at for doing so. They lose all respect for their cause when it’s used as an excuse to steal and cause mayhem. Some of the videos of shop keepers being killed in the states for trying to protect their livelihoods. I’m not one of those people that proclaims all lives matter over the theme of it. But to merely blame racism for issues of poverty and the sole reason for everything seems misguided. The stats flying round on social media are mad about the crimes statistics.
So if there was a statue of Martin Luther king somewhere in the states (there might be I don’t know) and that was vandalised by white supremecists that would be ok? War memorials are sacred in my opinion. More so than places of worship.
And there it is. You stay there with being offended about someone spray painting sacred lumps of concrete.
Whilst I'm not the biggest of conspiracy theorists, does it never occur to you that some unpalatable acts to 'normal people' are deliberately orchestrated for the very purpose of deflecting from an otherwise uncomfortable issue for the powers that be ? ... Trump is particularly adept at such forms of deflection ... I was watching CNN on Monday when the brave National Guard and Military police heroically charged the massed ranks of organised terrorists that had gathered with the intention of razing the White House to burning embers.. Now there will always be a few numpties without question ... but never lose sight of the actual reason behind public displays of discontent.
So would it be acceptable? It’s what a memorial or statue represents and what it means to people. Just the same as places of worship.
It’s that Archie. He’s like a little Yorkshire terrier snapping at my ankles that I can’t shake off. I keep booting him away but he always finds his way back.
What the **** are you on about some imaginary attack on some statue for? Is it acceptable, nah probably not. Does it warrant being charged by the cavalry, Erm.. definitely fuking not. Just say what you mean dickhead. "those blacks want special treatment" summin lie that Yeh?
It's a ****ing stupid thing to do tbf. Probably gonna do more harm than good as it will be used to inflame the 'what about white lives tho' crew.
Doesn't really explain why you're working yourself into a frenzy about something that probably didn't happen.
