Just had six weeks off, the house is falling down around me and i just couldn't motivate to do a tap. Missing the grandkids a lot and i have one i haven't met yet, she has gone from pictures of a tiny bundle to pictures of an actual person, so much missed.

Think you are misreading it. Whether it's true or not i haven't fact checked not do i really want but the way i'm reading it is that the 15-40 year old black men, whom make up 3.5% of the population, cause 50% of the murders. Not that all 3.5% of them murder, just that they are the biggest contributors to murders even though they are only 3.5%. (apologies if this has already been argued).
The 24hours before your 41st Birthday are famous in the black community, its your last chance to commit crime. I presume this is the cause of the riots, people getting in their last days worth of crime.
It's not super surprising, most crime is committed in cities and in low income areas of those cities. Those areas have traditionally been majority African American, I would say a massive reason for this increased crime rate is also the war on drugs. When we had mostly white poor people living in London they also committed large amounts of crime.
