I fancy getting FIFA this time, aint bought a PES or FIFA for last 2/3 years and was PES for about 3 years before that. What would be the best way to get good? Learn to play AI on hardest setting or just play online a lot?
Play AI until you get to grips with the mechanics (and as long as you enjoy it), then go online and enjoy all the cheap tricks and exploits that'll be used on you.
I've played it last few years just never owned it. Played it for alcohol shots and I always ended up having to drink more, wasn't always the case sometimes I would play a blinder, but I think last year my mates just used to dribble it down the touchline near my goal and then pass it along the face of goal for an easy goal. I'll have to whip out my PS3 to, aint been used in 2 years.
It's 2000 microsoft points (around £15 or so I think) for the Season Ticket, early access deal. You then need to buy the full game later. Cheapest I've seen for pre-ordering the disc is Asda so far, £35 or so. Tesco might do a release night/day offer though, they often do.

I played the demo, I tried on default but it felt really awkward. Especially to sprint, I will have to change the controls around.
I've pre-ordered the special edition through amazon, do i still get the 18 free packs? Also I've heard you can start your ultimate team somewhere online? I've never done it before really. I've done for a bit, but didn't like it that much, but willing to give another try. I got pissed off with crappy contracts.
I only found out I had early access yesterday when I realised I had the Medal of Honor special addition.
Nah, it's the other way round with Fifa 12, you become much more adventurous with the build up online because the defending isn't as good
Please realize that players that look **** are actually quite good, and that any player over 70 has the capability to do quite well (I'm doing quite well with Bolton online )
