She has no real interest in this. She is a public face. The real opposition is Qatar. Geopolitics. That letter effectively says 'stay out of this.'

It will go through and there is nothing this woman or Qatar can do to stop it.

 

The twitter comment from that legal lass Michelle effectively saying “premier league are covering themselves legally as they approve the takeover” is also very plausible.

It’s actually more likely than the other way around. If it had failed the tests under current rules. It’s failed. Simple. No need for legal backup there.

But if they are approving it then they need legal justification as to why they didn’t reject it.
