Subbuteo, and a matchbox scalectric track that ran on springs within the track and you had to selotape these little plastic pin things to the bottom of you matchbox cars. Oh and the James bond aston martin that odd job flies out of the roof, oh and all the Captain Scarlet Vehicles, Oh and chocolate coins........12 weeks to go...eff knows how many sleeps that is
Anybody remember those springy things that would go down stairs, or octopus that would stick to windows, and move down. (Can anybody pm me how to save a 5 second youtube clip as my signiture. Seen a few people do it, hopeless with computers)
Yeah I had some of those (or were they spiders? Can't remember). Other faves were my budgie bike (great for wheelies and bunny hops), star wars collection, Tomytronic 3D (anyone remember them?) and Star Bird
I had a budgie . It was metallic purple and made me look like a girl . I then progressed to a Grifter when I actually wanted a racer . When it came to my next bike I had gone off the idea of a racer and wanted a BMX. Guess what ? I got a ****ing racer . I 'm sure my olds did it on purpose , ask what I wanted and then got me the opposite .
My best present was a lego town set, came in a huge box with a town board with streets on it, you built the whole town with houses and school and police station and anything you wanted, I played with that thing for years and loved it.Everytime I built the town I did it different, came with cars and street signs and everything. That was the rolls royce of christmas presents back in the day. Got a meccano set too but that did'nt get me like lego
Got a meccano set too but that did'nt get me like lego Used to love my Meccano I kept it for years ............ and got it down from the attic when my boys were younger, not a bit interested
My olds did similar - I wanted a grifter and got a commando star, then I wanted a racer and got a skateboard
