Omg. Right I am happy to be the voice of reason. If it does go through and I’m wrong then honestly I don’t care because I will happily say I was wrong knowing that we get an amazing ride going forward. But **** me why are people so positive about it going through given the unprecedented amount of negative news regarding this takeover. There Has never in the history of football been so much controversy over a takeover ever. It’s gone so quiet even for the press that it’s become not worthy of attention.
https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.bbc.co.uk/sport/amp/football/40928467 Only a statement when it went through! And the premier league where delighted to broadcast it. However in our takeover they said “it’s not up to us to tell you the outcome of the investigation” hmmmmmmm
I wouldn't even know how... used to get stoned and play for days I'm my mates garage back in the day.... great days
Ffs that takeover was blocked because of bribery........ lol and quite rightly unblocked. Ours is global piracy and murder. Slightly different leagues I am afraid.
So are you saying that the premier league are going to pass the test as our new owners are murderes so tell me then. If it’s ok to approve a murderer. Why has our takeover not gone through!
I think it's the fact he was convicted perhaps... these guys are accused of things ... all probably true the bit where he says they changed it though... our guys are accused if many things
The PL is owned by the 20 PL Clubs. If one of the members is unfairly treated eg NUFC then they have a right of appeal and if the appeal is not fairly determined then they have the ability to take court action. If the court decide that the member was unfairly treated then that member is entitled to redress. The PL have to adhere to their own rules and procedures. If they don’t then court potentially beckons. Likewise if a third party suffers loss because the PL don’t adhere to their rules etc then the same scenario can apply. If loss can be shown then redress can include compensation and if that loss is significant then so is the compensation. PIF may be worth billions and £17M may to them be chicken feed but they will go after the PL as they would not wish to be seen as losing face as that will be bad for business. You don’t get billions by failing to look after the millions.
Not likely and I understand what your saying. But if this was the case it would have already gone through. The premier league would effectively be bullet proof if they turned it down. Look ffs I want the deal to go through. But honestly as every day goes on how can it? Far to much **** under the bridge.
