It is, of course, clickbait. The Telegraph knows full well how this is seen, it's their job to sell clicks and subs. Luke Edwards - of the Telegraph - has even said it will be sold this time, that Ashley will not own the club in 2021. Doesn't say who to, and I don't currently think it will be this Saudi consortium.
any road they were bound to send something like that... it means nothing really just a polite acknowledgement
probs the yank chancer that's worth less than Ashley... I'd have been happy with that, but it will feel disappointing if it's not on the magnitude of the Saudis now tbh.. 2021 though lol
Absolutely not. If I’m classed as a chuckle brother then I wanna be the bigger one. Chaos can be the small one. You ok with this CC!
honestly I mean FFS we've been through some pretty ****ty situations over the decades, but this you're the next PSG then hah!!! are you **** has got to rank as one of the biggest jokes in world football history.. you've just got to laugh ... hilarious
I think it shows football in a dreadful light. From the sports washing to amnesty, the ignorance and poor priorities, the arrogance of Masters, the silence of Ashley/Charnley, the stupidity of the media, the click bait, the hidden agendas and potential corruption. It’s all left such a bitter taste in the mouth I’m not sure I even care for a takeover. For my son, it’ll be great, but I’m not sure I can stomach this anymore. It’s so evident this is a horrendously one dimensional and elitist sport, why would anyone want to bother with it?
