SO Renault have announced Robert's replacement needs to be a title contender. In that case I would suggest who ever that may be needs to be in the car asap? will we see them driving the Renault B4 Sunday evening? Guess front runners now are, Kimmi & Nick Heidfeld, or maybe one of the other teams on the grid will try to "sell" Renault one of their contracted drivers ? ? ? ?
IMO Raikkonen does not want to come back. I think he wants to rally (even if he's not very good) and whatever its his choice They should forget about the championship as i dont believe there is anyone of that Quality available .The other candidates of Senna, Heidfeld and Liuzzi are all not going to be WDC unless they really think this car is some half a second faster than the rest of the grid. I Hope they atleast test Bruno because the others have had their chance. Liuzzi has never delivered and i think 174 races over ten seasons is enough for a man who has never won a grand Prix. Heidfeld is solid but i see no potential in him and where with the other 2 you sense it could restart their careers. i feel Nick has had his time. that said he is faster than Liuzzi. Test Senna, maybe give him a race or two and if he bombs give the car to Heidfeld
Heidfeld, Senna failed next to Chandhok, who has nothing in GP2 etc to show off amazingly. Heidfeld is the ONLY person to beat Kubica as team mates in F1. Heidfeld is good enough to be WDC but has never had the car
Chandhok did not beat Senna. As for Nick. I just can't get excited about the idea of him on the grid.
I think it would be worth while giving senna a shot. Hes alot better than the HRT made him out to be.
Senna is overrated remember he is in F1 because he is carrying a 24 carat name/surname with him. Heidfeld is a far superior driver and he should be given the chance.
I dont know, alot of it is merit. he has minor backing and stormed through the lower ranks even though he had a long break away from motor sport
Senna actually beat Chandhok though. And I don't think Bruno got much from GP2 because I get the impression he was very unlucky. Watch this; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j400C3IAOC0 The 2nd commentator says of all the drivers to have this bad luck it would be Senna, suggesting he always has bad luck, but is a good driver
01 Sebastian Vettel 256 02 Fernando Alonso 252 03 Mark Webber 242 04 Lewis Hamilton 240 05 Jenson Button 214 06 Felipe Massa 144 07 Nico Rosberg 142 08 Robert Kubica 136 09 Michael Schumacher 72 10 Rubens Barrichello 47 11 Adrian Sutil 47 12 Kamui Kobayashi 32 13 Vitaly Petrov 27 14 Nico Hulkenberg 22 15 Vitantonio Liuzzi 21 16 Sebastien Buemi 8 17 Pedro de la Rosa 6 18 Nick Heidfeld 6 19 Jaime Alguersuari 5 20 Heikki Kovalainen 0 21 Jarno Trulli 0 22 Karun Chandhok 0 23 Bruno Senna 0 24 Lucas di Grassi 0 25 Timo Glock 0 26 Sakon Yamamoto 0 27 Christian Klien Look who's 22 and 23. Chandhok had 1/2 a season and beat Senna. Chandhok also looked more impressive racing.
Means almost nothing as the HRTs position was determined soley by how many drivers DNF. the reason Bruno didn't capitalise before you say it was because he was to busy having his own mechanical misfortune http://www.f1fanatic.co.uk/statistics/f1-2010-statistics/ Crucial point mechanical failures Bruno 7-0 Karun Thats why he is ahead The qualifying is what matters and bruno won
Brunos car was also the same car chassis from race 1. Karun, Sakon & Christian had the newer lighter chassis. As it was driven by Sakon it was probably the main development car also through the season.
boullier now says it Heidfeld if he does well at the test. If not Liuzzi or De La Rosa Poor Bruno I would quit if i were him. Who wants to be the reserve who isnt used when someone is injured ?
Yeah but his mind seems to change with the wind; only yesterday he said he was looking for a title contender.
hopefully bruno can prove faster than heidfeld. Liuzzi and DLR are a waste of space. Kimi will want money so these two are the only realistic bets
