... and lest we forget ... a previous Conservative government thought it was a good idea to waste the lives of 250 British servicemen at a cost of countless millions to repatriate half a million 'British' sheep on some small islands off the coast of Argentina ... a case of mad cow disease determined to hang on to power whatever the cost...
