Yeah, I just meant it in terms of the police attacking journalists. It's totally out of control. Those troops storming through towns pepper spraying people and beating them to the floor is ****ed up. And Trump is going to make it even worse.

I knew the angle you was coming from, but I prefer to keep to a balanced view, not your one sided opinion because you hate Trump. The journalists have to be protected from protestors as much has they do the police. Albeit I will accept it is more notable the injuries though law enforcement. But we shouldn't deny there has been actions by protestors, that have been unsavoury. However, tonight, the protestors have been peaceful and the authorities the aggressors.

That's modern politics to an extent though. You see it everywhere, for example the whole idea of calling Brexit concerns "Project Fear" and labelling people "remoaners" was to negate the need to actually tackle issues raised, instead just attack the people raising issues and question their motivations for doing so. Irrespective of your political leanings the moment the people or group you notionally support begin to stop listening at all to concerns of people with opposing viewpoints your main job should be to start raising those questions yourself. Once people in power see themselves as unaccountable we, the public, have lost.

I don't hate trump, I just think he's completely unhinged. Which he's demonstrating right now. I haven't seen any Press getting attacked by protesters, so I can't comment on it. I was just referring to the footage I saw of several different police units attacking press. Scary that the Police are beating up people who are there simply to report what is happening.
I would love it if he has the brass to try a rallying speech and whilst gesturing to himself with a stubby thumb and smug face saying something like "if they want a fight then they'll have me to deal with". Acting the tough guy in his ivory tower. I can see it and I've no doubt he wouldn't have a hint of irony or self-awareness.
Oh absolutely. I wasn't meaning to be anti-Brexit, it's one of a bunch of different campaigns that have followed a similar tack it just happens to have been more effectively managed than most.
