Absolutely shocking. Hopefully with the appeal of non violent means by his brother Terrence today, we can focus solely on the real matter of bringing him and his family justice, and that includes holding all four coppers to account. As should be in any murder trial, if you are an accomplice of the murderer, then you should be equally accountable. Any one of those three other coppers, could have stopped it at anytime, they chose not to, so they are all equally guilty. I believe third degree murder as they are calling it is 25 years in jail. Albeit if that had happened in two of the three other states, the charge under that, it would have been 40 years!

I thought he was as well, He went quiet, so he certainly looked dead to me, when he was all limp as they put him on the stretcher, his head was completely flopping about, meant with respect btw.

Well he was still alive as they squeezed him, so I guess it was then.

The video posted on here this morning showed that the blokes getting out of the ambulance were seemingly coppers and not paramedics. There was zero attempt at either checking his vital signs or resuscitation at the roadside, which in itself is weird.

Trump still winding up the protesters with messages of get tough, and the police not being made to look jerks, maybe if the numpty actually tried to work with the Floyd family, he would be doing his job as a president, than the total jerk he himself is being at the moment.

I think some of their emergency services have dual roles, not quite sure how that works mind, regards necessary training.

He doesn't realise it yet but he's doing himself untold harm. It's one thing playing to your base, but you also need to hold on to that part of middle america who will vote for you as well.

I think Trumps comments today are totally shocking and uncalled for, it really is time, someone close to him, stood up to him. I condemned the looters and I condemn him on the same level, his comments are disgusting.

He’s playing to his base mate, as that’s literally all he’s capable of. Sowing hatred and division, appeasing racists and xenophobes, looking after his financial backers with tax breaks and friendly legislation, as it’s all about him, and him desperately trying to cling on to power.

Doing the right thing here, would require some statesmanship and would risk him alienating some of his red neck following. So it won’t happen.

I heard a commentator describing his presidency as having entered the Mad Max stage this morning, which I thought was very apt. This kind of uprising has been coming for a long while imo, the current mass unemployment due to the crisis has made the downtrodden even more detached and despairing, that copper merely lit the match.

Apparently some people are calling for him to address the nation? Can only see that going well.

He has to be the worst American president in my living memory, you'd think out of 300 million people they could do better. Like you say it's about statesmanship, he should have been doing the right thing and reassuring the Floyd family.

Mate his base alone isn't enough to get him re-elected. He needs middle America Republicans and fence-sitters to vote for him. And the way he's handling this... as well as the Coronavirus will turn many of them away. Certainly not all but it could be a significant amount to really damage him.

I think he's going to become more anf more desperate with his rhetoric. Like most nutjobs as reality comes crashing in. If he realises it's the endgame for him come September/October I really wouldn't be surprised if he goes full on kamakazee and does something completely insane (considerably more insane than usual).

Whatever anyone’s view is on Obama and his tenure, just listen to the man speak and some of the addresses he gave, then compare and contrast with this ****ing moron, who spends his time tweeting his brain farts and telling lie after lie, after lie.

I think for him to make the correct address, someone would need to write for him.....and er....say for him to, he's that fooking useless. Maybe he will wake up when the White House gets trashed, and as people will see from my comments on here, I don't condone violence.

If you can’t win fair - cheat.

They’ve already started preparing the ground by trying to claim postal votes in key marginal states are bent and should be banned. Just watch as voter registration for the downtrodden suddenly develops huge issues with people ending up deprived of their vote.

I’d not be surprised one iota if he’s down in the polls, if he tried to extend his tenure by trying to postpone the election on some made up premise. As and when he loses anyway (and I expect he will) I reckon he’ll call it a fake result and try and cling on in there whilst the ‘fake result’ is investigated. He knows fine well once he’s out the door, the skeletons clonking around the closets will come crashing out. I’d honestly not be surprised if he ended his days in the nick.
