This is the place to discuss anything about the up coming game tomorrow night between Doncaster Rovers and The Mighty Tigers. Also please note... Tigers fans travelling to Doncaster tomorrow night should be aware of extensive road works on the A63. Eastbound carriageway will be closed between North Cave and South Cave for road resurfacing works. Closure will start 8pm Tuesday night until 6am Wednesday morning. Diversion are in place though but will also have an affect on City fans travelling away to Brighton.
Cheers for that mate, will bare that in mind when I drive up there tomorrow. Anyone know about parking? I've seen that there is a car park but cost £5.
Can't go tomorrow, but last year I parked at B&Q - about half a mile from the ground if I remember correctly.
Dean Saunders eh? He was up front when I used to watch Derby at the Baseball Ground as a student, will be a big challenge for him having only managed non-league Wrexham but he did well there. Make no mistake, it won't be easy, will he play Sharp? probably as a sub again.
You are right, story here... http://www.skysports.com/story/0,,11688_7205145,00.html Not a bad player, veruy physical but not surprised clubs are reluctant to touch him with a barge pole, he's another Bullard in some respects, trouble follows him on and off the pitch !!! Heres just a few reason why I would'nt want him at City... http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/article2192308.ece http://blogs.mirror.co.uk/football-banter/2009/02/hear-blackburn-bad-boy-el-hadj.html http://www.offthepost.info/blog/2009/02/el-hadji-diouf-vows-to-fck-a-one-year-old-child/
Theres talk that its between Doncaster and Wigan to get Dioufs signature, with Donny favorites! Heard £14k a week they are willing to pay.
Donny's board are one of the richest in the country and if they want something they get it. 3 of their directors are in the footballs top 100 rich list
If you don't believe me you are a mug. Look at numbers 25, 51 and 25 in the list, where are Hulls owners in that list? We were in the conference not long ago and still building the club up. They are in the process of buying the keepmoat from the council among other things and building the squad gradually. The directors payed out for Sharp against competition from clubs that are bigger than Wigan so why not Diouf. He's not my idea of a good signing but if the board want him what can I do to stop them. The reason we are bottom of the league is because of the injuries we've had. At one point there were 15 out and we had to play kids from the youth team. http://www.caughtoffside.com/2010/10/06/2010-football-rich-list-full-top-100-highest-earners/
I think you'll find few on here have any idea who your owners are, or what they're worth, frankly, why would they? I seem to remember reading an article about you having some very wealthy people involved at the club, but I can't remember who they were and you're obviously not talking about Ryan, as he's got barely any more money than the clown that owned us until recently.
