As regards the type of fop people that followed 'Timmy' then I can`t stand tennis in that aspect, but it is a great game to play.

Don`t like Rugby Union stemminf from the lawyers and public schoolboys that used to play it. I know it is a bit different now but there are still some complete nobs involved that think its funny to piss in others peoples shoes and get them to drink whilst guffawing like a toff.

F1 is ****, boring ****e ****. WRC is ace though, proper blokes putting themselves on the line.

I hate Rugby, It's Pointless and I can not stand it when there commentators say c**p like 'That's A god bit of football.' Tennis is over hyped and it only 'popular' who two months a year.

Regarding Darts no sport that you can play in a pub whist drunk is a Sport.

I was president of my Uni for Badminton... I pretty much agree with your statement, although being a working class skint student at the time, I obviously slipped through the net

When the 70 mph speed limit was introduced in 1965, only 10% of cars could actually reach 70 mph.

It's safer to drive a modern car at 100 mph, then it was to drive a 60's car at 70 mph, which is why the government are looking at increasing it to 80 mph.

That's why I drive my modern car at 100 mph and my 60's one at 70 mph(and before anyone says it, no my Lambretta doesn't do 70 mph) :emoticon-0105-wink:

Fishing is ace. The thrill of the catch can be a serious adrenalin surge.

NFL though, fully agree, thats prob worst of the lot.

Used to really enjoy Badminton at school, me and my double partner were unbeaten, even beat the PE teachers which really pissed them off.

I'm with you poly on rugby league. Why give the ball back every 6 tackles? Why have scrums when there's no competition for the ball? What do league forwards do apart from run around a bit & tackle? Union forwards do that & so much more. No wonder its a world game as opposed to league, which few people take seriously. Useful training ground for up & coming union back though. Thanks for training Chris Ashton for us by the way.

Boggers lets not start this one again!

Union forwards are fat, League forwards could play in pretty much any position! More Skill involved in League rather than kick tennis to each other, and no overpaid tossers playing

Afternoon YNBK. Union forwards certainly aren't fat. The front row are a bit low & squat. But it just confirms that old adage. You shape determines where you play on a rugby pitch. And that's true of both codes. If you watch the world cup, you'll see plenty of skill. And you won't see them having to give the ball back every 6 tackles.

I have to say I don't think either code has anyone overpaid. Both are genuinely games where you risk life & limb when you cross the whitewash. I may not think much of league, but even I know that players risk serious & potentially life threatening injuries.

As to kick tennis, its called playing for position. Very hard to score in the real game from inside your own 22. At least a line out is a contest for the ball. You can't even call a league scrum a contest for the ball. Heyho, one of these days, we'll get to meet & discuss this over a pint or three.
