There has to be, otherwise it’d have been cleared within a matter of days. There’s clearly concerns that they’re investigating and a reticence to clear the deal. Whether those issues end up being enough for the PL to ultimately refuse it, is another matter, but anyone who thinks this level of delay is normal, needs to give their head a wobble.
Can't disagree with this. Everything is up in the air but there is sufficient evidence to make the PL think long and hard about the right decision. I am sure COVID19 has played some part but not wholly, in my opinion
I don’t think anybody knows why the PL haven’t officially approved the new owners, other than those who work with/for them. Project restart, along with existing broadcasting contracts will certainly take priority over a new owner test, and you’d imagine lawyers involved in both processes will also be bogged down with a large workload. The new owner and director process will have nothing to do with the seller, so Mike Ashley will be asking the buyers for updates, and they’ll be keeping him informed of whether it is progressing and that’s why you lot should still be confident, because he hasn’t said or done anything to make you think it’s going down the ****ter.
I would like to know why the Saudi’s would fail for piracy accusations (as that’s all it is) but our owners wouldn’t be disqualified for burdening us with £1bn debt during their period of ownership and removing £500m for themselves from the club whilst the club was laden with THEIR debt.
A source close to Ashley told Sky Sports News: “It is only right to let the fans know that there is no deal on the table - or even under discussion - with Amanda Staveley and PCP. Attempts to reach a deal with A. Staveley & PCP have proved exhausting, frustrating and a complete waste of time.”
that was the last one when he turned it down... we might have believed him if he wasn't caught and had to admit to lieing to fans in court.
I see that but I don’t get it. How can such a high percentage of footballers test positive and yet in places like London. No new cases? Something smells off!
