didn’t I say loads of times they have a responsibility to protect the interests of the founding clubs/current clubs. Piracy is a crime. In this case it’s victim is newcastle
I have no issue with piracy. Human rights, that I do. Looks at this time as if the PL is protecting its product. But things can change.
Well I suppose it fails everyone will be saved from alot of hate for a variety of reasons.. it's only football just something to watch , so even if MA stays we still have premier league footy to watch.
there's clearly issues... let's no forget the reports were that it would be done by May then issues pooped up left right and centre and low and behold no announcement and it's nearly June. The same people saying there's no issue were all saying it will be done in days a month ago.
Conversely, if they had grounds to stop it, then why have they spent 2 months deliberating over it? At the moment nobody knows. No doubt in due course we will eventually find out. Most NUFC fans want it to go through. My reading is that the majority of non NUFC fans want it to fail but not all for the reasons advanced about piracy and/or human rights but they are handy arguments for some to hide their jealousy or fear behind. Personally, I’m not convinced that there is sufficient evidence to show SA committing piracy and so am hopeful the approval will be given and the deal concluded. Then again I can say for sure that the PL are not waiting to hear from me as to my view before making a decision. Part of the delay has no doubt been caused by the Covid-19 situation but again how much only the PL know. All we c an do is wait, speculate and watch CC change his mind with every headline (only kidding CC, obviously it’s every other headline...)
I never changed my mind, but the amount of doubt increased slowly until I find myself leaning towards it's off..
