You used your £50 voucher? I was hoping there wouldn't be a minimum spend but it's £100 (so £50 once voucher is applied). I'm not going to use it, can get everything on the far cheaper elsewhere even after applying the voucher! Just wondered if you used yours. If your keen on their products, maybe you could use mine too somehow? Edit; I only wanted a lycra vest which was £50 anyway. Managed to get two off Ebay for a combined £12!
I did a midday 20.3mile today in 2hrs 8mins. Quite happy with that considering I hadn't planned a route, just followed my nose
My water bottle and holder still hasn't turned up. I temporarily nicked the middle borns before setting off. I ran out of water about 2mile from home. Need to plan ahead and make sure I've got plenty of ice cubes in; water was warm after about 15-20mins Frustrating that I passed 3-4 shops today but no cash / wallet on me because I've no pocket. Need to look at solutions for this. Edit; walk through the door at home to the mrs making slushes though. Smashed a pint of water, a pint of slush and two beers within 20mins of getting home
Get that at footy occasionally but no, not today. Words I never thought i'd utter... I've just ordered a bum bag
Some sort of warning should be applied to posts like this, the thought of him in lycra is bad enough, sporting his little bum bag puts it over the top.
Nah, not yet ... I've looked on their site and there are some bibs, a gilet, a pair of gloves and a couple of jerseys I like. I could get the gilet for 50-60 if I buy something else for around a tenner with it then apply the voucher. The jerseys and bibs would still be coming in at around 100 even with the voucher. It is expensive stuff ... supposed to be quality but hard to justify the price and probably only coming out of the factory next door to the aliexpress one, which is where you should go if you want dirt cheap. Thanks for the offer, dunno if it's possible to use two though!
A solid effort, nice to just pedal and see where you end up sometimes. I went on a 12 mile walk out into the wilds this afternoon. Thought I'd put trainers on instead of my walking boots which was an error as they started to rub the backs of my feet within half an hour because I put stupid low socks on
Most bikes have fittings for two cages and bottles? ... The other solution, other than the obviously fashion forward choice of the bum bag, which I'm sure you'll wear slung across your body rather than around your waist, is a proper cycling jersey since they have pockets in the back designed to store/carry extra bits of clothing and essentials like a multi tool, tubes, food, cash/card and phone, or a saddle bag which would fit all that except the clothing. I've been out with no form of payment before and been desperate for nourishment, not a nice place to be
