I like Boris and look on the positive side when possible but he really needed to sack Cummings. There's no defence for it and the way Cummings himself has handled it has made it worse. Arrogant twat.

It was an opportunity for Johnson to show some backbone and integrity but he's made himself look weak.

Johnson addressed the nation today and lied through his teeth.

He spoke about his meeting with Cummings who'd 'explained where he'd been for two weeks'.

    Just f*ck off man.

His top advisor, at the height of the biggest crisis since WW2, vanishes for a fortnight, but the PM pretends he hadn't noticed ...

.... does he really believe that the public are so thick that they'll swallow that shyte, ffs its really insulting.

Of course he knew what he was doing, they discussed it and Johnson told him to get off.

Absolutely disgraceful behaviour from them both ...

... just show some courage, admit that you're gutless liars, and go.

I didn't mind the way that Johnson dealt with this virus when it first appeared, but since then its gone from decent to a complete shambles. Now this fiasco with Cummins. Show some backbone, Johnson, show some leadership, to hang on to this arrogant prick shows that you are too reliant on him.

    Dreadful man.

    I couldn't believe he'd become a government minister ...

... so I did some research to see what he'd done previously.

Just what I was thinking . If the guys so important , Boris must have noticed he was missing . Others must have asked where he was . If he said , or Boris said to others “ he has symptoms so he’s at ( London ) home isolating — it’s lies - if there are no lies about that, Boris and others knew what was going on

You mean by not bothering to turn up to cobra meetings in the build up and telling everyone he was shaking hands with all the coronavirus positive patients at a hospital he visited shortly before testing positive himself?

How many countries have killed British soldiers ?
How nationalities have British soldiers killed. What has this to do with our incompetent and untruthful government ?
Your last use of an expletive only diminishes your arguement of your point of view.

Nothing at all to do with our incompetent government. It was you who said you would rather vote for the Taliban. Why would you even think that ?Apologies for the expletive - it was uncalled for

I thought Johnson at the very beginning of this virus was giving some decisive moves in order to curtail what was coming...Its just my opinion...I am life long Labour voter and the thought Corbyn potentially could have been in charge of this send shiver down my spine. That said, as I pointed out, I think its become a shambles, There is zero clarity, decisions now are made to pacify the general undertone of what the population is thinking and more important Cummings is making these decisions of which he is not abiding by. I'm not in the know about what meetings he attended and which ones he didn't...there might have been good reasons...I really don't know, as I suspect you don't either.

If that's the case, and it helps, then fair enough ...

... but don't drag your 'special needs child' around the country for no good reason ffs.

Why this fear of Corbyn, do you know him, or are you also just making comparisons for effect.

Again mate, just opinion, but as far as Corbyn goes there are so many reasons why he was unelectable. He turned a centre left party to a far left party in a country that has moved on from this kind of politics. The election result proved that. His background cozying up to Hamas, IRA etc. His appointments....I mean Diane Abbott FFS. His total lack of ability in dealing with Anti semitism views held by a good number in the party. His lack of clarity over Brexit. I could go on and on, but for me a 62 year old life long Labour Voter would NEVER vote for that guy. He would have turned the UK into a 3rd world country. But the thought he would have led the fight against Covid is scary. Thank god we will never find out
