Even if it’s true it’s such a nonsense attempt to claim the moral high ground and deeply offensive to all those parents of autistic kids who have had to cope through far tougher circumstances.
Exactly
My partner works in a school for autistic children. Many would normally travel home at weekends but it was decided for the safety of children and their relatives to stop this so as not to spread the virus across the country.

It would be interesting if we could see the amount of Remain people calling for his head compared to the Leave people.

I think it's a ****ish thing to do but not sure why we need 3 days of coverage. Politician in acting like **** and his mates backing him up shocker. Stop the press.

I'm far more interested in when I can get a haircut or go and buy some new clothes.

You wanna be careful btw luvvy, you're close to becoming a racist tory with that attitude.

So is this Cummins thing getting a bit out of hand because he made Brexit happen? Or does he deserve the amount of abuse and campaigns by the people for the people?

The Daily Mail and assorted back bench Brexit backing Tory MP’s, including Steve Baker calling for his head would suggest that the idea that the public outcry about the actions of this fella, is not about ****ing Brexit.

I wonder how long the left wing can keep it to themselves that Dom’s child is autistic and needs to be around familiar people at all times <whistle>

Not that they’ll give a **** about that when it comes to scoring political points <laugh>

So the kid is more familiar with the Grandparents that live 260 miles away than the aunt living just around the corner? ... sounds plausible ...

... but doesn't explain Scummings day out at Barnard's Castle ... unless the kid is also more familiar with the hierarchy at Glaxo than his aunt? <laugh>

Oh no, I'm just wondering and don't actually give a **** what happens to him either way.

Only he’s not a politician, he’s the chief advisor to Johnson. So he’s an unelected bureaucrat.

Johnson stood in front of the entire nation last night, and told us that this bloke broke the rules that he and Cummings put together, as he somehow cared more, than those who have abided by those rules to the letter, and in many cases made massive sacrifices in order to do so.

I think it's probably a case of both. Naturally left wing commentators, by that I mean certain media outlets such as those involving Rachel Shabi, while I accept at the same time Cummings does deserve dogs abuse.

I get he had his reasons, I absolutely get it. BUT, he is not the only person in a population of 70 million people that the guidelines were wrote for. Everything from people not being able to see their grandkids, through to attending the last moments of loved ones. Let's not forget those guidelines, have yet to see the fall out of lost jobs and financial hardship, and the consequences of that.

I will only ever defend something, if I whole heartedly can counter argue a case and believe in it, as I have done with many things on this forum. The fact is, I can't counter argue it, and I'm quite angry about it. So my personal opinion is he should be fired and Boris has disastrously got this wrong, this is not a time for comradeship.

I hasten to add, I'm not saying the guidelines were wrong, I'm not saying he didn't have a genuine reason, but Dominic Cummings family was not the only family who may have sufffered while others did suffer during this crisis.

Cummings was at the forefront of the message to the British public, I reckon we could potentially be seeing a number of appeals now, on fines issued during the pandemic, and some may be cases very similar to that of Dominic's. I believe someone is already challenging the lockdown on being illegal, this is not going to go away, I hope Boris has his tin hat ready, because he fooking well is going to need it.

Missus did mine with dog trimmers on Saturday ... <laugh>

... as for Cummings ... he sets the government's agenda ... then flaunts it ... ergo not fit to be in his job ... anybody else in public life would go ... simples <cheers>

Very much on the money ... how many parents with autistic kids have just had to deal with it at home due to guidelines that Cummings was apparently key to making?

He put himself above those rules and the trip to Barnard's Castle is the real doozer ...

Anyone think the mirror and guardian are finished with their revelations about Cummings?

One rumor is they can't sack him because they were all at it and so this would just be the first domino.
