If this thread / board / media / social media / the neighbours are anything to go by 'this' has caused a split in the public / people, that was previously a united if not fragile following of an ethos /message / that was needed to help flatten and control a threat never encountered before

Do you genuinely believe the best use of limited questions and air time with the PM was to ask the same question over and over rathe then press him on school opening details and or other non essential businesses opening ?

I think it's naive to think that, given the opportunity, the government spokesmen/women will stick to giving relevant information about the pandemic. Yesterday Grant Schapps just launched into a party political broadcast about the building of an additional platform at Leeds station and a dual carriageway for the A66. He cited Conservative plans to bring prosperity to the north with only a fleeting mention of Covid.
On second thoughts, the A66 improvements will improve access to Barnard Castle.

 

Create a siege mentality.
Tell the public they are under threat and Bingo you can control a large part of the public .

 

It depends on who you believe, Cummims' wife's account in the Spectator, or the excuses made this week.?

I realise that and that's why I mentioned the neighbours amongst others as real people, who do not share the same political views as myself, though we do agree on many things who all feel this went over the line and he should be gone, yes it's not the whole population but a view of people who support the government
