    I didn’t see it, but I wouldn’t have thought schools would be covered since they’d already said they were reviewing it to make a decision on Thursday?

    Boris confirmed the June 1st start date for some ages and also said there will be more changes / information for non essential shops and leisure trade over the next few days. Not one single question asked about any of it, just the exact same question re Cummings from every single journalist with the same answer from a frustrated Boris

    Oh and 1st June was only ever the no earlier than’ date. East Riding have already said 8th at the earliest

    He actually said details of which years , and how its been communicated through the unions and the fact that if it stays around what it is now then they will be starting June 1st,

    Can understand why most may have missed that though

    He said the June 1st may not be possible for all schools but is sticking to that date. Either way, the jurno part was a complete and utter waste of time with no questions asked on the death toll, recovery rates, testing, schools, leisure industry or future plans at all

    It's apparently not based on the graph, more to do with needing a week after the school holidays to prepare. Not sure quite what they've been doing the last few weeks
