Actually it should have said 'I'm a f22ing idiot that makes up rubbish because I hate Dominic Cummings'

The facts on the whole matter are opaque. Boris can't blag this one, he needs to be up front and if he decides to keep Cummings, he must do it with all the facts out there for the public

 

I haven't said he shouldn't. I have posted that he should resign because the pandemic is not about him going to Durham. We have more important things to worry about.

 

We simply must move on from this scandal quickly or we’ll miss the next massive ****-up.

 

Agree Steve Baker made it clear that he didn't like Cummings but said he was 'brilliant' in some areas but always leaves 'collateral damage'. I really like Steve Baker and he talks a lot of sense.
The Guardian reporter on the news last night was virtually in tears "I have never been so angered. All-day It has made me feel so sick that Cummings went to Durham She really milked it.

 

Just sack him, save what little credibility they have left and move on.

After the text went out and all the lads did their bit by tweeting their support the most likely route will be to double down, shout “fake news” and trust that enough people will back you because Brexit or sumfink or just not care.

The Tory MP,s saying Cummings should go really puts to bed the 'lefty' accusations and the 'mob' mentality Ellers refers to.

My point exactly Kiwi. The Guardian has been after him for some time due to Brexit and Election. It has been a major effort to get something on him. This comes with the daily attacks on the government from some quarters.
It now depends on the truth. For starters some papers made it sound that the police were called because of him being there when in fact his father called the police regarding security issues? Why did they need to do that? I am also now hearing that he didn't return to Durham after a certain date which some papers led me to believe he did?
Maybe they should suspend him, have a quick inquiry, and make a decision based on facts. Then some (bar the lefty mob) can move on.

Actually there are some (maybe now just 1-2) that will just post the opposite to what I say. It's not just me though I have noticed it with a couple of others. That's why the Coronavirus thread has lost a few good posters. It should be called "let's just bitch about the government thread".

I don't think the coronavirus thread has lost any good posters. It's all relative anyway, the government and coronavirus. It's pretty difficult to praise them, all things considering. You should make a thread with all the positive things theyve done to combat it..............................
