    Lads, counselling needed.

I’m worried Leeds will do a Leeds over the remaining nine games and end up in the playoffs again.

    Why?

    • It's a fresh start for all clubs and a leveller for those not doing well, and will throw up lots of rogue early-season-type results.
    • Some element of disruption to our perceived fitness advantage can be expected irrespective - yes Chesh, I know it’s the same for everybody. <laugh>
    • We have the easiest run-in on paper so one of our competitors will lift their game and go on a run.
    • I’d rather see Leeds play away with our support at hostile grounds than play home, away or neutral with no atmosphere. I think it will prove a leveller for lesser sides.

I was listening to Bremner on the BBC podcast recalling how they lost the league after being ahead by 7 points at Easter...we are Leeds. <yikes>

Would I take curtailment and promotion on a PPG basis? In a heartbeat.

Do I think the season will be played out? Yes, and if so I hope all my fears are
    unfounded.

I know this is the right group and right manager to take us up, but the unprecedented circumstances overall make me feel uneasy.

    Britain Shicks.

Give yourself a slap Davy, you're getting hysterical, it's going to be just fine. Nothing but Champions.
Think positive vibes, it's behind closed doors, you can't jinks us.

That would be a sporting gesture equal to allowing Villa to walk a goal in
last year. How did that all work out again?

I’d love to give you some words of wisdom but I’m bricking it too. My main fear is we get off to a slow start, Cardiff are a bogey team and then Fulham. It would only take Fulham to win three, us draw one lose two and the season gets halted for a second outbreak and we’re buggered before we hit the easier games.

They need to be 100% certain that if we restart every game gets played. I wanted the season to conclude as I feared it being void, now they have confirmed there will be promotion just end it now give us the crown and I can enjoy summer

We wouldn’t have done it if there was still a chance of automatic promotion

Relegations could still be cancelled, according to the Premier League's chief executive Richard Masters.

It's now over two months since the last fixture in the top-flight, with all elite football in the UK suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The Premier League have remained committed to completing the season, with further talks planned for next week on how to resume the campaign.

EFL chairman Rick Parry has already claimed that things could get ‘messy’ if teams are denied from promotion from the second tier, with the 71 clubs outside of the Premier League set to vote on resolutions to the season.

Meanwhile, FA boss Greg Clarke has said that relegations will definitely take place, despite concerns from a number of teams involved in the battle at the bottom of the table. But Masters, speaking to the BBC, has suggested that there is still a chance relegations will be cancelled, with it set to be discussed with the 20 clubs next week. “That is a significant topic. And we haven’t actually discussed it with our clubs," he said.

On relegations being cancelled, he added: “It will come up for discussion, that will be part of the debate we are going to have. You have to have contingency plans. Curtailment is still a possibility and so what would happen in that environment, is something we are yet to discuss with our clubs.”

Several clubs considering legal action against the EFL if they are relegated this season but Birmingham City, Derby County or Sheffield Wednesday are allowed to start next season in the Championship on minus points due to FFP sanctions.

If it goes to a vote and majority vote for it then they won’t be able to sue.
