Available Centre Backs

I know, still you hope. I will say this, I contacted Leeds United a few years ago about Sol Bamba, when he played for Hibs in the SPL. I'd watched him at Dunfermline in the Scottish 1st Division and saw the potential that a few other scouts had also observed. A few clubs came in for him and he chose Hibs due to the likelyhood of regular first team football at a higher level. I never heard back from Leeds and I don't think anyone from the club came up to watch him, which is a real shame as he is the best centre back in the league.

 

The Dutch do develop good Centre Backs...

 

They do and we need to get in there to get some of these guys, before the bigger clubs come sniffing around. I should say that Vertonghen & Wuytens are from Belgium and play for the national side, but have played their football in Holland and have come through the dutch football systems.

 

we can get 10 more CB,S but the truth is they won,t be any better than the ones here wew need a first rate defence coach NOW

At the back we need a chuffing miracle,
however, hats off to Ross and Keogh, they`ve been magic 9/10

 

it doesnt take a miracle to sort out this defence. The individual players arent that bad.

it is grayson. Funnily enough although we are shipping goals and have been for a while i dont think we are far off at all. I think we have the players at the club (Although a new CB would be nice). We just need to drop O'Dear

 

If the individual players aren't bad, then the manager must be.

He signed Collins, who made us worse last season, and O'Dea has done the same this season.

At least 2 of those players are prem bound next year. They are that good! Especially Vertonghen. We couldn't afford any of these players

I don't rate him, he wasn't what I would call acceptable level when we first had him and I haven't seen anything since he left to change my mind. Former players are not the answer, so now that we have Pugh back, can we move on.

My point is that the back four has been completely changed. 3 of them can do a job (with bromby being reliable backup) That means we are not far off

 

STFU Clivetime. Ok are defence is ****, granted thats Graysons fault, but then surely it work both ways, so our attack is fantastic because of.......yeah Grayson.
