Sadly yes, yes I do, even though I was at a relatively young age.

BGD - our season is arse, full stop.

The players are good enough, but the tactics are all utter toss. How can you play 4-4 deep against a newly-promoted team away and expect good things to happen? Sessegnon and Bendtner are good players, but leave them isolated with no midfield and how well do you expect them to do against 5 or 6 defenders who can drop back from the centre of the park at will?

This tactical ineptitude has gone on for too long now. I mean, do you really think you are 4 goals better than us on paper? Yet there's the 5-1 in the records books. And still it continues.......

Do you get the impression he's being asked to do too much at the minute or possibly that he's trying too hard? He always looks lively but as soon as he gets in a vaguely threatening position he goes for goal. Plus what does EMH add to your team? Personally I just don't see it.

Not being funny Sid if Sunderland had won tonight people would be talking about a Sunderland doing well and for me that would have been fair as I think you've had a tough start. You will be about 12th for me.

I bloody hope so cos if we have the usual post Christmas slump (Bruces 4th in a row this one would be) we'll be up to our elbows in crocodiles by the end of February at this rate.

Who's your ideal candidate for his replacement then? I have to say, Bruce is up **** creek and even the most stubborn of Bruce supporters have to see he's on his way out sooner or later. A lot of managers would be lucky to still be there given your recent form, but I'm sure for a lot of you, even a good run and a derby win won't make it all better.

Save your breath Sid, its very sad that these WUMS now define their own success directly against that of Sunderland, a team trying to build on a few mediocre years in the Premiership, they used to compete with the big boys you know, its been a while now so you can be forgiven for forgetting. They have some very tough games coming up, pride before a fall and all that. We accept we are a poor relation to the big teams, penny yet to drop with these children. Don't worry, Agent Ashley will soon be ripping the piss out of them soon enough.

Key word there is form, they are 2 good results in a row away from having had a good start.

Look at the table, we're 4th. Still competing amongst the big boys despite Fat Mikes best attempts to ruin us. ;)

Your owners on the other hand are doing their best to make you a good side, and its still not happening. (That might change when Brucey goes though)

A couple of wins and we'll look good. But we've been poor so far. Even the Stoke win was against a leggy team who'd just played in Europe AND everything went our way that day.

It's the tactics that are pissing me off. It's not even the derby loss. You can always write that off as a lottery, but we've been ordinary against Swansea and Norwich who have just come up. I know it's early and they're still on a high, but we haven't had a go at them IMO, so how are we going to pick up points against the established teams?

I could have handled a defeat tonight, but for the huge hole there was where our midfield should have been. We only filled it when Norwich went off the boil with 25 mins to go and that just isn't good enough.

Well I like to look realistically at a season this way:

Man Utd, Man City, Spurs, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal - 12 games where you are very unlikely to walk away with all 36 points, but short of battering them for 90mins and deserving to win, anything is usually a bonus.

Villa, Everton, Sunderland, Stoke, Fulham, QPR, West Brom, Bolton and Wolves - 9 games where you should be getting points at home, 9 away where you will lose a few but still should pick up a point here and there.

Norwich, Swansea, Blackburn, Wigan - 8 games where, no disrespect to the clubs involved, prior to the performance you'd be really disappointed with anything other than a win.

It's not really wumming though, just a bit of banter, with some truth vehind it, im sure most mackems would do the same to us. It's local rivalry. In a league where neither team will be close to winning anything beating your local rivals is a real highlight.

I for one get endlessly told how Sess and Larsson are top four quality and that Bruce has bought well. The reality is we haven't lost a competitive since May and you've won 4 matches since January, and despite Ashley being a PR nightmare and the owner of an online sports jumble sale, our signings are looking quite good and our team have gelled, yours hasn't, because once again Bruce has wasted loads of money on average players. All of that, is amusing to us, understandably so...

Yeah, but right now it's Man Utd, Man City, Spurs, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Villa, Everton, Newcastle, Stoke, Fulham, QPR, West Brom, Bolton, Wolves, Norwich, Swansea, Blackburn, Wigan where we are very unlikely to walk away with 3 points, but short of battering them for 90mins and deserving to win, anything is usually a bonus.

Care to take a closer look at our board tonight and tell me its not wumming, there was one thread started by a mag where the first 10 replies were from mags or there abouts. There are a couple of Sunderland fans who may turn up on your board, tonight we have had about 30 mags, more most likely.

Biggeordiedaves thread above is spot on, despite your start your battling for mid table mediocrity, same as us. I would be very interested to see the threads where you are "endlessly" told Seb and Sess are top 4 quality, if you have been told that I would say the poter in question is a bit of a tit, but I don't believe you have.

I don't venture onto your board, as I'm not into wumming, due to the nature of not606 though, it appears on ours too. All I'm saying is there is foundation to the wind up, it's more rivalry than anything else and if the shoe was on the other foot, the reaction would be very similar.

As for the garbage I endure from Sunderland fans, this occurs in the real world, with a few lads I work with. They probably think I'm an idiot for saying that I think Tiote and Colocini are good.

And out of interest, I think we will finish mid table, and sunderland probably will, as long as Bruce is sacked, if not, your run of awful results and performances, that as you well know goes well beyond the start of this fledgling season, may drag you into the mire.
