http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-15053560 NI wants to lower the drink drive limit to 50mg/100ml with a further cut to 20mg/100ml for younger drivers. I am all for a cut in the drink drive limit but I disagree with having two different limits depending on age as it should be 20mg/100ml for everyone. PS zero tolerance would never work because the body produces a small amount of alcohol naturally so there is always a trace in our system. A tougher line must also be taken with those caught drink driving because the courts are just too lenient at the moment.
Dunno. I did crash a lassies motor when I was drunk. In my teens before I had a licence. Or a motor. Or lessons. She was also drunk and in the passenger seat when I ploughed into a row of parked cars on a bend in the road. We got out. Cops arrived. She took the blame. Banned for two years. We fell oot shortly after. Seemed like a good idea at the time.
One of the cars I hit belonged to a family who were going on their holidays in it. They were due to leave about 6am, I hit their car at around 4:30am. I felt quite bad about that.
Googled it, it depends on whether its a blood or breath test, the acceptable amount varies: 35 for breath, 80 for blood or 107 for urine. Article says blood so you must be on a par with us just now.
