I am having Haddock and Chips tonight from the local Kurdish chip shop. The last time I had takeaway was 6/03/2020, but it cost £6 75 for a small sliver of haddock and £1.80 for chips. The kurdish blokes charge £6.40 for large (which is really medium) haddock and with a large portion of chips. Daddies sauce of course and washed down with a discussion on my wife still saying "Pate".

I know what you're saying, but I don't believe the BBC are doing a decent job, and judging it based on the views of extremists is a bit like falling for the sleight of hand. It's quite reveling to look at the news in other Countries. Ours is far from being a free press. It seeps out of the news and into other programmes they show too.

George Eustice telling us we're short of fruit and veg pickers so we Brits need to get stuck in and register on the 'Pick for Britain' website. Are we surprised, I think not. <doh>

A bit of Trumpism blaming the press going on lately on here .
Hoax and Fake news will become the norm when people dont like what they see and here !
Maybe Twitter and Facebook should be the 100% guaranteed truth .
Funny how 4/5 years have changed the faux belief .
I wonder what could have happened in that time for it to become thisc:emoticon-0114-dull::emoticon-0138-think

To be completely honest I’m not a good judge as I never really watch telly in the traditional sense, and I can’t be arsed to watch the news (and thinking about it if I do it tends to be Channel 4)
Anyway I wasn’t saying the BBC is perfect, it was more criticism of the US ones which both sides effectively use as a 24/7 party political broadcast

Given that I think they are too supportive of Brexit and too anti EU we may be proving my original point.
Having said that we both agree on them being too focussed on the metropolitan world so who knows

Not in the traditional sense? I picture blonde wig, flamenco dress and a large cigar and whisky

I'm adding hobnail boots and hairy legs to that vision of loveliness.

    Tattooed arms.

    Chin stubble.

    Caked on mascara.

A whiff of Channel No. 5.

A giggly, girly flutter of false eyelashes.

    And a cock, obviously.

No new cases in London in the past 24 hours.

Not so clever here though, Yorkshire and the Humber reported the most cases with 30 out of the 79 new cases for England.
