Didn't he reject a U23 contract in favour of staying at South shields? Also isn't he at uni at the moment and he wishes to complete his studies. I imagine the demands are less at SS than with you guys? Always up for ribbing you guys but this seems like a logical step for the lad and thus a non story
Don’t see why it’s funny or surprising His choice was to get pumped in the U23s all season long or go to Shields and win matches I’d probably do the same until the owners are replaced by folk who care about youth football
It's not true at the moment though is it really. I think it's hard to argue as FACT that Sunderland and bigger than the likes of Leeds, West Brom, Notts Forest. It depends how you choose to measure it of course but I don't think most neutrals would objectively see Sunderland as bigger.
