    Absolutely mate.

Im reading German and Spanish press and reports more than ours at the minute, such is my lack of faith in our facts and ‘leadership’.

I’m starting to read the French as well, there ongoing stance is more hardline than the rest including ours.

OK here we go, this is my honest opinion and not just to be controversial.

I've just watched 'East Midlands News', Mrs Smug is from there, which had two items that wum'd me/made me laugh.

The first was from a Jobcentre where the girl was sympathising with a stockbroker who'd been made redundant as had his wife. Both were highly paid and had little prospect of finding a similar job.

The second item was from Rolls Royce, Derby, where plans are being put in place to give mental health support for anyone losing their job.

My reaction was to think 'just get a f*ck*ng grip and sort yersel out'.

How many tears did stockbrokers shed as thousands were dumped on the dole when the pits closed?

How much psychological support did the miners get when their villages were wiped out?

I don't want anyone losing their jobs but I'll bet the stockbroker was cheering Norman Tebbit when he was telling 'the dole scroungers' to get on their bikes.

WTF does a stockbroker make anyway?

If my sums are right , the uk is 1/800th of the land mass of all countries. As you say, we are (or should be ) protected by a natural moat. This being the case, we have failed miserably and no wonder the world laughs at us.

Even if the numbers were manageable, those taking no responsibility will ensure that it doesn't get eradicated, which means that those of us who have and would be playing the game, will never get to go to the pub. Hardly fair. And those people wont just be acting normal in the pub, they'll be going to the shops etc, - places I have to go to. It's a no from me.

p.s. not arguing with you, but with dapper old boy

But lets not forget that Sweden is virtually following the ‘Herd immunity’ sh:t. They have more dead than all countries that make up ‘Norden’ TOGETHER.
More than Finland, Denmark, Norway & Iceland combined.
Total jerks on a par with Bozzo Boris.

Biggest scandal of ‘herd immunity’ is there is absolutely nothing to suggest you can’t reinfect or get reinfected, and they haven’t been able to establish how long antibodies remain in the system.

    It’s absolutely winging it.

Ask any farmer what would be the first thing he'd do if he found he had an infected cow ...

... I'd bet a million pound he wouldn't put it in with the rest of the herd.

Farmers are very methodical and concise in what they do mate.

Polar opposite of Boris and his entourage of head injuries <laugh>

I understand the most popular option is a bolt to the head then to incinerate and burn the beast ....

... this is for mad cow disease btw, not for Boris <laugh>
