That's why I can understand five of the six pushing for the league to continue, the one I can not understand is Ipswich.

You only have to look at the clubs that want to continue to see why they do. Money. They are all pretty secure financially but how many other clubs would fail to survive if they play on with the costs involved in doing it? So, if you can't play your way into a promotion position then the next best option is to force the opposition out of business and buy your way there. Never mind the greater good or anything else. There is no integrity in a lot of football sadly.

The unweighted system would leave us 3rd on 76pts the weighted system would put us 6th on 74.7pts with Pompey 7th on 74.6 pts and Sunderland 8th on 71.2pts and Doncaster 9th Gillingham 10th and Ipswich 11th above us Coventry 1st Rotherham 2nd Oxford 3rd 76pts Fleetwood 4th 75pts Peterborough 5th 75pts

I am like you Mowgli much prefer to drink in a pub, at home the trouble is it's much cheaper you can get bottles of decent beer for £1.70 in a pub you are looking at £4.00 a pint. The other night had four bottles at home & I can not remember the last time I had four pints at home. In the pub it was most Wednesdays.

£4 a pint...............&***^% What the feck price is that? I pay about £2.60 after a match on a Saturday. Don't drink out much at other times except when we go for a family meal. Where do you drink phil the bleddy Ritz. I remember the days when you went out with 10 bob and had 4 pints and a packet of ***s as well as chips on the way home.

I used to drink Gin once upon a time. Went out with family a while back and one of the party asked for a gin. So I bought her a Gordons. Got back with it and she said no I didn't want that I wanted some bleddy Rhubarb one or some such fruit cocktail. I discovered that since I don't drink gin anymore there are around a million and one types and flavours now. What's this world coming to for Christ sake. Apparently there are half that number of Ciders now as well.

Rhubarb gin seems to be the in drink with the youngsters today along with prosecco ,in my opinion they are vile give me a pint or a rum anyday. You talking about the price of beer greeny I remember a few years back we went to an away game and had a few drinks in wycombe then in London and one pub the sherlock Holmes near charing x station was about £18 a round dearer than all the others and to top it all they took the money then said we had to drink outside because they didn't allow football shirts in there ,bloody pisstake if you ask me. On another note I was looking on devon live website this morning and was reading about a mass brawl in a park in Plymouth involving 20 or more youngsters, you should really look after your kids better than that greeny <laugh> .have a good day everyone sun is out and I'm off into my garden. keep safe <cheers>

When the Lord Nelson in Hythe shut a pint was £3.95,there is only one place I know off apart from clubs in Southampton where it was £2.60 a pint that was the Anchor in Redbridge, I hate to think what the price of a pint is in London. Apart from Wetherspoons the nearest one to me is about 10ml away.

I drink Somerset farmhouse Cider the cloudy stuff with no bubbles in how cider should be and is around 6% I love a visit to my local cider farm as Roger Wilkins makes the best cider i've tasted, i drink 1/2 a pint of sweet mixed with 1/2 a pint of dry for the perfect taste it's what the local old cider boys have drunk for years. <cheers><cheers>

All I can say is that will teach the little feckers to pick on a poor defenceless old man.................

Don't believe all you read in our rag of a local paper stokenchurch. That was probably two kids having an argument. They blow most stories up to some epic tale.

Still no decision on L1. There won't be until the authorities make one. The 6 clubs are holding out for completion of games

The longer it goes on the less chance there is of completeing the games, & wonder if the other 17 clubs are so keen to continue, I would think they could be comfortably out voted, like Greeny said the six who want to continue only want to continue because they think they could get promoted & the money after that.
