Lorne Scottish sausages quite thin, about a quid a chuck in Lidl. I make them here as skins are hard to get.
We started phase two today, we can buy alcohol but only to take away. They've also extended the curfew so we can stay out until 11pm if wanted. Shopping malls and restaurants are open but social distancing is still required but cannot drink alcohol with your lunch/dinner. No passenger flights into Thailand until 30th June. Still bored ****less as travel is still frowned upon and to be fair this second phase isn't much more freedom than the full lockdown.
The first dish you've got cooking there, looks alright with the little mini sausage balls, and bits of bacon. I'd actually be tempted to turn it into some kind of skillet, and add chopped bell peppers and bits of already cooked potato. With a couple of fried eggs it would be what Sucky might call banging.
@luvgonzo this is the sort of thing i mean, but with a bit more bell pepper - some onion in it as well.... please log in to view this image
I quite like your idea now of mini sausage balls, with that in mind. cooking time would be less, and more evenly matched to the other ingredients.
I used to have them in the US, only problem being, sausages and bacon in the states is shhite, so you'd have to have chopped steak or something.
Now I'm happy I couldn't go anywhere where that wasn't beer. For what I don't drink indoors, I make up for when I'm on holiday.
I like to get out to but haven't been allowed to, its better than going without. Ps that dish is Shakshuka
Just looked that up, can't say i ever remember seeing it in Spain, but it does look very Mexican come to think about it.
